G.E.M.S. stands for Girls, Empowered
Motivation for Success.
Queenβs GEMS LLC is a youth organization that seeks to provide social engagement opportunities and educational support for middle school girls ages 10-15.
All active club members are provided the opportunity to learn, discover, and develop their interests and knowledge to become successful individuals in an equitable society, regardless of socioeconomic status or cultural background.
Have you ever been bullied in school? Do you have issues with your parents, siblings, peers at home or at school? Are you a follower or a leader? Do you have questions about your body, relationships, or academic success?
YOU ARE IN THE RIGHT PLACE!
Queenβs G.E.M.S. Club is a FREE social club for female-born girls ages 10 to 15. Our target audience includes at-risk and non-at-risk female students with or without learning and behavioral disabilities from local middle schools in the Newton County Georgia area.
Queen's GEMS offers free after-school programming in the areas of academic skills geared for individual learning styles, individual and group counseling, STEM project-based learning, proper social skills/ etiquette, organizational skills, self-esteem, anti-bullying, anger management, personal hygiene, team-building activities (Field Trips & sleepovers), community service opportunities, leadership development and much more to all active club members.

Founded in 2021, formerly known as Clements GEMS Club, began as a small group of like-minded individuals who wanted to make a positive impact in their local community. Since then, we have rebranded as Queen's G.E.M.S. and have grown into a thriving organization with over 50+ members.

Our non-profit organization has run a highly successful program at Turner Lake Community Center in Covington, Georgia. We have previously been awarded a grant from a major foundation and look forward to expanding the organization to all middle school girls in Newton County.

We offer free after-school programming in the areas of academic skills geared for individual learning styles, individual and group counseling, STEM project-based learning, proper social skills/ etiquette, organizational skills, self-esteem, anti-bullying, anger management, personal hygiene, team-building activities, community service opportunities, leadership development and much more to all active club members.
We also take fun field trips to Fun Spot amusement park.
The program takes place two to three times a month at various middle schools. Mandatory Saturday group meetings this year will be at Turner Lake Community recreation center.
